FBCLID 7 received approximately 1.5 - 2 inches of rain on Thursday, May 16 that led to some street ponding. The Pump Station is operating to bring water levels in the drainage channels to the lowest level possible. Very little rainfall is forecasted over the next week.

The Brazos River will continue rising and is forecasted to crest next week at 46 feet in Richmond, Texas. This is great news! High water levels outside the levee have closed the FBCLID 7 flood gates, but water will not reach the bottom of the levee.

FBCLID 7 will continue to closely monitor the rainfall and Brazos River forecasts provided by the National Weather Service.
